Who We Are

Doc John was five years old when his mother noticed his ability to assist small, injured animals he found in the neighborhood.  As he grew, he became known as the boy in the neighborhood that everyone came to when they were ill or had a sick pet.  His mother always used natural methods to help the family's health problems, and she regularly took them to see chiropractors and osteopaths.  She encouraged John throughout his childhood, as did  the elders in his hometown.  John’s belief and insistence in the healing power of the body could be seen at the age of fifteen when he accidentally cut his middle finger off.  He took it to an orthopedist who said there was nothing he could do for John.  John was adamant that he sew it back on, so the doctor did, and it healed with no nerve problems.  About that time, John’s father visited a chiropractor for high blood pressure and impotency, and the spinal adjustments enabled him to manage these problems without drugs.  John realized at a young age that he wanted to help people heal, and that Chiropractic was his path.  He attended Palmer Chiropractic College, the oldest and original Chiropractic College in the world.
